What's Confirmed (Uttar Pradesh)

• The Examination Regulatory Authority (Pariksha Niyamak Praadhikari, PNP), Prayagraj, issued the official D.El.Ed 2026 admission notice, with registration opening in June 2026.
• No entrance exam this cycle — admission is entirely merit-based. Your combined percentage across Class 10, Class 12, and graduation is used to compute a State Merit Rank.
• State merit rank lists have been published in three bands on the official portal: Rank 1–20,000, Rank 20,001–80,000, and Rank above 80,000.
• The second phase of choice filling for seat allotment is underway, following the official notice dated 7 August 2026.
• Around 2.39 lakh seats are available combined across government DIETs and private/aided colleges across the state.

Urgent: Phase-2 Choice-Filling Deadline — 10 September 2026

If you belong to a reserved/special reservation category in Uttar Pradesh, or you're an applicant from another state, the official portal has set 10 September 2026 as the deadline to complete your institution choice-filling for the second counselling phase. If this applies to you, log in to updeled.gov.in and complete your choices before this date — missing it can cost you a seat in this round.
