Uttarakhand's D.El.Ed admission process involves two separate government bodies, each responsible for a different stage:
- UBSE (Uttarakhand Board of School Education) — conducts the entrance exam and declares the result/merit list.
- SCERT Uttarakhand (State Council of Educational Research and Training) — conducts counselling and district (DIET) allocation once the merit list is out.

- The entrance exam was conducted on 22 November 2025.
- UBSE declared the provisional merit/selection list (separate lists for Science and Arts streams) on 30 December 2025.
- SCERT Uttarakhand conducted counselling and district allocation in January 2026, at its auditorium in Nanurkhera, Dehradun.
- Seats are distributed across 13 DIETs (District Institutes of Education & Training) across the state, allotted by merit and your filled district preferences.

As of this update, UBSE has not released the 2026-27 admission notification. We checked ubse.uk.gov.in directly, and the only D.El.Ed reference currently visible is the completed 2025 result — no new cycle notice yet.
